Menu Item Price Change
Total Touch POS has the ability to change prices on a group of selected items, by a selected department or by a selected report group. The price change can be by a fixed (absolute) dollar amount, increased by a dollar amount, decreased by a dollar amount, increased by a percentage or decreased by a percentage for all price levels or selectable by a single price level. The price change can be a permanent price change or a temporary price change. When using the temporary price change a snapshot of the items price, before the price change, is retained so that the original price can be restored at a later date and time.
- Caution: You CAN NOT use the ‘Decrease Price by Percentage’ to reverse a price that was increased by a percentage.
